The Playstation 5 is coming, and there are many questions about what it will entail. One of the most exciting possibilities is that the PS5 could be a backwards compatible console, allowing players to revisit older games from the Playstation and Playstation 2 libraries.
This would be a great way to introduce new players to older titles, many of which may have been overlooked in favor of newer releases. Additionally, upgrading older games with enhanced graphics and other features could draw players back into classics that they may have missed their first time around.
Whatever Sony decides to do with the PS5, we can only hope for the best in terms of backwards compatibility and game enhancements.
We are currently working on an upgrade path for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Collection on the PlayStation 5 and will share more information as soon as it is available. Thank you for your patience!
To upgrade Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Collection to the latest version, please visit the PlayStation Store and select “Downloads” from the menu. From there, you will be able to re-download the game and any applicable updates. Thank you!
If you only own Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End via PlayStation Plus, you will need to purchase the Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Collection in order to upgrade it. Thank you!
The multiplayer mode from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will not be available in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Collection. Thank you!
It’s a shame that having Uncharted 4 through PlayStation Plus does not entitle you to the $10 upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version. You’ll have to go out and either purchase a physical book or download a digital copy.
Unfortunately, you will not be receiving a completely free upgrade, but Sony is providing a path for players to take instead. Here’s how to save money while still getting the most enjoyment out of your PlayStation 5 games by upgrading your versions.
A faultless 30 frames per second presentation with unerringly uniform frame-pacing is essentially what you’re looking at. If you are in performance mode, 60 frames per second is the goal, with just rare single-frame dropouts in between (essentially unnoticeable in play).
Simply insert your disc (if you own a physical edition) and choose the game icon on your PlayStation 5 home screen to begin playing. Once you’ve done this, the game page should display, and you should be able to see the Legacy of Thieves Collection to the right of the screen for a discounted price that says PS5 Upgrade.
In addition to the PlayStation 5 release on January 28, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is scheduled to come on the Windows PC platform at some point in 2022.
Uncharted 4 is an amazing game that was released in 2016. It is the last game in the Uncharted series and it left many people wondering if there will be a sequel. In March of this year, Sony announced that there would be a new Uncharted game coming out for the PlayStation 5 and it will be called Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
This game will not star Nathan Drake, but instead will star Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross. There have been some upgrades made to the graphics engine which should make the game look even better than Uncharted 4. Fans of the series are excited to play this new game when it comes out next year.
